It’s been a while since we posted business ideas related to tourism. Meanwhile, the tourism industry is considered a very profitable niche, in which quite a lot of money is circulating. Usually, any changes in the tourism sector very quickly affect end users and their preferences. In general, in the sphere of supply and demand, business ideas appear like hot cakes, especially in tourism. The following business idea originates in the sphere of gastronomic needs, combined with the opportunity to travel and enjoy new beauties.
Meals with a View on Rails
Belgian travel agents have decided to try their luck in providing a very specific service and have launched a very unique offer for visitors to the city of Brussels. Now, tourists traveling in Belgium can combine all the joys of city travel with tasting local dishes, which are offered to them by a special tram-restaurant.
Just don’t think that this is a regular cafe-car where they will make you a sandwich on your lap and pour you tea from a thermos. This year, the capital of Belgium offers tourists to learn something more about the traditions of local cuisine, combining pleasure with a highly comfortable restaurant on wheels, converted from a tram car.
Tram Dining: A Moving Experience
Six renowned Belgian gourmet chefs develop the restaurant menu every 15 days. The restaurant tram departs from Place Poelaert from Tuesday to Thursday at 8:00 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays at 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm. On Sundays, the restaurant car departs at noon. The journey in this wonderful, comfortable restaurant tram lasts 2 hours, during which time the traveler is allowed to enjoy an aperitif, a first and second course, and, of course, dessert. The gourmet car has 37 seats at tables for two and also several tables for four. All this pleasure costs 75 euros for two people, including the journey around the capital of Belgium.
It is worth noting that the tram-restaurant rightfully deserves the title of an excellent business idea that people could come up with to improve the level of service and familiarize themselves with the foundations and traditions of certain cities. After all, many cities have a system of tram tracks that can be used not only for traveling along picturesque routes.
