The demand for solariums will remain for many more years, so it is worth thinking about the idea of opening your own business in solariums!
According to some experts, such services as solariums and spa salons on the Russian services market occupy no more than 50% of the full occupancy of the niche. And this means that you still have room to stir, ve, and there are still plenty of free places in this area. By the way, such a business idea is very good for women. In addition, if you look globally, most of these salons are organized in the central cities of the country, while less populated cities have demand for this type of business, but have absolutely no supply.
Another thing may seem strange – many people in many cities of Russia can get a very good tan in the summer, but this does not cancel out the active attendance of solariums. Why? There are a number of points for this, which you will definitely learn for yourself if you decide to seriously take up this business idea.
1) Being in the open sun in some cities is dangerous to your health because it can cause skin cancer. No one will control the time spent in the sun in such cases, so there is a high probability of getting sunburn and much more serious skin diseases.
2) Not everyone can sunbathe naked, but you want to get a tan everywhere and evenly. When you come to the beach or a clearing by the lake, not every man and woman can undress completely to get a nice, even tan. In a solarium, you can do whatever you want, and no one will say anything to you. You can sunbathe without underwear without a twinge of conscience, and no one will do anything to you.
3) To get a good, beautiful, and rich tan in natural conditions, you will have to spend more than one day, and the tan must be neat and natural! Lying in the sun, you cannot accurately control the time, you can fall asleep, you can forget to turn over, you can get sunburned without knowing your skin type, and without special products. None of this can happen in a solarium, because they will look after you there and help you get exactly what you want.

A good location for organizing your own tanning business would be the central part of the city, but not on the roadway. The most profitable tanning salons will be those that are located in a good and well-maintained part of the city, with good access roads, good service, and maintenance personnel. However, the costs will be appropriate, so the person starting this business will have to weigh all the pros and cons independently. The main thing is to consider the location of different social strata of the population nearby – whether they will be office employees or residents of nearby new buildings or luxury homes.
On average, to open a pleasant and popular solarium, you will need from 500 thousand rubles, if you take several solariums + rent of the area + salaries of employees + other expenses. As for the payback, on average, the solarium pays off in 7-12 months with good occupancy. It is also worth thinking about the technical maintenance of these devices, but this is another story, which you will encounter directly during the implementation of this business idea!
